It must hurt them knowing deep down they are not a big club. They say our rivalry with them is one way but who are they rivals with as arsenal have just made the knock out stages of the chaps lge for the 17th successive season.
I'm not for one minute denying they are a bigger club than we are but they are not

I spent the day at a housewarming in Hertfordshire watching football on various foreign streams. The Liverpool and Man Utd fans, whilst misguided, were fine.
The only #### was the Spurs fan. Couldn't help but laugh when he got all excited and they still lost.

My original point was was mate I didt see how you couid compare Alvin Martin with London Liverpool fans due to the fact him being originally from Liverpool and now supports West Ham.given he only ever played for us and still lives locally. Or is that not what you meant.

Most of the people I know who support Liverpool are Mauritians, Indians and Africans and know fuck all about football. The ordinary London born Liverpool fan is right down at the bottom of the barrel with London Manure fans and all spurs fans.

How can you compare Alvin Martin with the glory hunting Liverpool fans from London.Alvin came West Ham as teenager and had a long career and still lives in the Romford area.I doubt if half of those glory hunters ever visited Liverpool.

From Harlow but supported Liverpool when I was 5 to about 7 as I was a glory hunter. Grew out of it though. Talking of Mick's my dads family come here in the late 50s and adopted the Hammers as did a fair few other Irish families in Harlow!

Was loads in our school but that stemmed mainly that they was probably the best club side anyone has ever seen...

From the ages 8-11 I supported Liverpool. It had nothing to do with the fact they won all the time at all. I switched to them from West Ham back in 1982 because my best friend supported them because they won all the time.
